Unshackled

This radio play is the story of how Jesus changed my life. It was aired on 250 radio stations around the world. I was 17 at the time of the broadcast, and I had been a Christian for one year. Some of my old friends laughed at me and told me "this religion thing" would wear off in a week, and I would be "back to normal" again. That was 45 years ago, and I have never wanted to go back to the old life.

The Bible says, "Taste and see that the Lord is Good" (Psalm 34:8). I tasted, and I discovered that knowing Him is far more satisfying than anything I have ever known.

I was searching for something real. I never expected it would be Jesus. When I found Him (or He found me), I was able to stop searching.

Jesus said, "I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts." (Rev. 21:6).

Knowing and following Jesus is the most rewarding life a person can have.
