The #1 Job of the Christian Is to
Obey the Great Commission

It is impossible to glorify God without
winning the lost to Christ.

How Your Church Can Change the World

This web site is dedicated to helping Christians and churches everywhere take the Great Commission as seriously as God does.

Many churches spend time and money doing everything under the sun but the Great Commission. The other things might be OK, but they should never take the place of obeying the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ.

It's Not Just Soul Winning Evangelism

Evangelism is just the beginning. It's winning them and developing them into mature, spiritual Christians. Empty professions of faith mean nothing. It's far better to see 2 people genuinely saved and following Jesus than to see 2,000 professions of faith where there is no change of life and no real salvation. Real salvation changes people's lives (2 Cor. 5:17). A person who made a profession of faith but whose life didn't change probably never got saved. They just prayed a prayer.

The Great Commission Is Not Missions. It is more than Missions.

The Great Commission tells us that we are to make disciples everywhere...

Jesus' Purpose Statement
for His Church

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching  them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even  to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:19-20

1.
Locally

We are responsible to God to reach every possible person who is within our reach. Early in his ministry, Jerry Falwell coined the term Saturation Evangelism, defined as Reaching every available person through every available means.

Our first responsibility is to reach the area where God placed us. How many of the people in your city have heard the Gospel through the ministry of your church? We need to get the Gospel to EVERYONE within reach (Mark 16:15).

2. The Regions Beyond

Our responsibility does not end in our local area. It extends to the whole world. That is why we hold missions conferences, take mission trips, challenge our young people to answer the call to missions and send out missionaries. When our church people are actively winning souls at home, they are more likely to answer God's call to win the lost in other parts of the world.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
